The gaming industry seems quite tempting, even for the Hollywood film industry. Tom Hanks movie star famous through the movie Forrest Gump or Saving Private Ryan go plunging into the gaming industry.
Hanks is rumored to be involved in making an adventure game Role-Playing (RPG) for mobile devices. Game was called Electric City: Revolt.
Electric City was actually a series of animated films made in the studio named Playtone's Tom Hanks. Through the mobile game made with Jump Games, the media (movies and games) will be interconnected.
Animation Electric City is currently airing on Yahoo Screen. The film tells about the city that is like heaven on its surface, but there are dark secrets in it.
"We designed the Electric City as a city that has a multi-dimensional story. Therefore, we feel the game and mobile content is an appropriate means to explore a variety of other story behind the film as well as expand the boundaries of the world that we made, "said a spokeswoman for Playtone.
